October 1st, 2020 marks the beginning of the California Legislative Action Committee (CLAC) Executive Committee’s 2020-2021 term. CAI-CLAC is a volunteer committee of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) consisting of homeowners and professionals serving community associations.

We’re dedicated to improving community association living and property values by advocating a reasonable balance between state statutory requirements and individual homeowners to govern themselves through their community associations.

It’s our pleasure to introduce Jeffrey Beaumont, Esq., CCAL, with Beaumont Tashjian as our new CAI-CLAC Chair.

“I’m excited to serve our members by working together to engage the legislature on a level that will ensure our voice is heard.” – Jeffrey A. Beaumont, Esq., CCAL, CAI-CLAC Chair.

Additionally, Julia Souza, PCAM, AMS, CMCA, with Alliance Community Resources, LLC is our new Vice-Chair, and we’re welcoming Betty Roth, PCAM, with Heritage Lake HOA as our new Treasurer.
