We understand the growing concern surrounding the COVID-19 virus across our communities, and our hearts go out to all those who have been impacted.
With our members’ health and safety in mind, CAI-CLAC has decided to postpone the CAI Legislative Days at the Capitol in Sacramento, originally scheduled for Monday, March 30 and Tuesday, March 31. At this time, we are working to secure a new date and will keep you updated, once arrangements are finalized.
Please note that if you made reservations at the Hyatt Regency, your reservation has already been canceled.
This week, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 a pandemic. Additionally, California Governor Gavin Newsome has announced new recommendations aimed at reducing the risk of COVID-19 exposure— including the cancellation and/or postponing of large events and gatherings. We believe our decision is the appropriate and responsible action given the current circumstances and information available to us.
Please note, this decision pertains specifically to the CAI-CLAC’s Legislative Days and does not reflect decisions made by other CAI chapters or events hosted by CAI National.
If you were planning to attend or are sponsoring the event, you will be notified in the coming days regarding a new date or the process to receive a refund or credit for another CAI-CLAC event. Your continued support and dedication is appreciated, especially during such challenging times, but together we will stay strong and united.
